Shirley Fritzinger Memorial

Donation protected
On Saturday, January 8th, we lost our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, sister-in-law and friend Shirley May Fritzinger. Shirley's first love was her family and what an extended family she had. Shirley was raised by her grandparents due to her mother's untimely death when she was 7 years old. She married at the young age of 17 and spent the last 69 years (married April 19, 1952) with the love of her life, Francis Fritzinger. She overcame many obstacles in her life and was always taking care of everyone in any way she could. She raised two children and after her children were mostly grown, she worked in the cafeteria at Pennridge High School. She was known as the "milkshake lady". Students would seek her out to have her make their milkshakes. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church since 1962 where she taught Sunday school and helped in the Nursery. In her retirement years, she became an avid painter and won several awards when she showed her works at local art shows.
Shirley lived her life close to the Lord. Even though the last few years were physically painful and challenging for her, she never complained.
To celebrate her life, we are asking for donations in lieu of flowers. Your donation will help Fritz with any upcoming medical expenses.
Please leave a message or share a fun memory of Shirley. We will surely miss her sweet, loving nature and smiling face but we have the promise she is no longer in pain and is walking with her Lord.
