Shirlee's Missions Trip to Spain

I know, I know...you are probably thinking didn't I just travel all over Europe for six months!?
Allow me to explain. :)
For the past 5 months I have been a leader with the high school ministry at Trinity Church in Redlands, CA. During this time, I have not only grown in the area of leadership but also in my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Not too long ago, I was asked to consider being a leader on our high school group's short term missions trip. Through much prayer and conversation with friends and family, I have decided to be a part of this trip.
Our team will be going to Sevilla, Spain from July 11-25. While we are there we will be working alongside a Trinity missionary who is a part of "Los Naranjos Camp." This 200 year old facility is a Christian Camp that was formerly an old army base which was used during World War II in support of Adolf Hitler and the German invasion. It now has been purchased and is being remodeled to share the gospel with the people of Spain.
We will be assisting with two main tasks while we are there. Our first task will be to help with a week long English Speaking Creative Arts Camp by leading games, skits, art projects, and many more fun activities for the children. The second task is to help renovate a building to bring it up to the proper conditions so it can be used for housing and meeting rooms for men's and women's retreats.
I am honored to be a part of this trip to not only serve and reach out to the people of Spain, but to also be a part of our high school students' lives. This will be a time where they will be stretched and will grow in amazing new ways.
I am asking if you would be praying for our team and also consider supporting me financially. Each person on our team is required to raise $2,300 by June 7th.
