Shippo's Story:
Shippo was born In the fall of 2015. He is an Akita that was rehomed due to the father of the pup not getting along with him. The family that he went to lost him the very day he came. He was recovered but again went missing.
Shippo now lives in a wooded area and has for the last 3 years. It is very close to a store and one person in particular (Amy) became his angel. Amy prepares his food each and every morning and is out there by 5am before heading to work herself. They have their own routine where she honks the horn, he come running down the hill and she cleans his area and prepares his food for him. Shippo lives in the heat, cold, wind, and rain, he lives and sleeps out in the elements. He's a handsome, gentle guy and you can see the intelligence in his eyes. You can tell that he wants to trust so badly, but because of being on his own, he can't allow himself to just yet.
This land that he has known as home for the past 3 years is now being cleared so construction can be done. It is imperative that we raise funds to hire a pet tracker to rescue Shippo because we have exhausted all ideas.
Because of the danger Shippo is in, time is of the essence. Our goal is to raise $2500.00 , so if you could possibly help Shippo by making a donation and sharing this with your network, I would greatly appreciate it!
