Shining Star Performance

Hi there! My name is Jasmine, and I’m a 15-year-old performing artist/student from Melbourne.

I am passionate about everyone in our community being able to experience and find a love for the arts.

I created this event to encourage people to experience and support performers who have had it tough during the past couple of years due to the pandemic.

I come from a family of performers and have grown up performing in the community and aspiring to make that my career when I grew up, and I've seen so many in my communities struggling.

 

Our Mission is to support the performing arts industry (particularly post COVID) in getting back on their feet by creating opportunities to generate joy and love through art and live entertainment and sharing it with the wider community. This project is a fundraiser/show to create awareness and highlight the importance of performing arts in our society; as a bonus, we are using this opportunity to raise money for the Arts Wellbeing Collective- an organisation that focuses on mental health and providing opportunities to performers.
