Shine for Dana Ball and Lung Cancer

Dana Ball is my 46 year old brother. He is not only a talented jeweller but an awesome dad to Kyan Liam and Luana and a son to Colleen and Gary
Dana developed pneumonia earlier this year , the infection just wouldn't go away. Dana soldiered on with the stress of provinding for his young family and keeping a small jewellery business running , he neglected to have a chest CT scan , he just kept on going , telling himself it will pass I'll feel better soon.
Finally, it became too much and he had the Chest CT scan which showed up lung cancer.
And that was the start of our journey ..... Dana's story.
A story he wants to tell.
Dana wants people to know that anyone can get lung cancer
Dana has never smoked. " It's important to know that anyone with a lung can get lung cancer ".
Let's remove the stigma associated with lung cancer . Cancer no matter who you are is a terrible terrible disease.
Lung Cancer is often diagnosed late particularly in young non smokers because they don't think of it as a possibility. Dana wants to change that , a persisting cough or infection needs to be investigated further.
There is no screening test available for lung cancer that's why funding for lung cancer research is so vital.
Dana supports lung cancer research and will be donating a large part of money raised to this cause .
On a personal level , Dana and his wife Julia are going through a very difficult time . Julia has been an amazing support to Dana and Dana continue to support his family in return.
Dana wants to keep his life as normal as possible
"See my kids , play and hang out as much as possible "
" travel up and down the east coast nsw, a few camping trips with the family"
So lets help Dana treat this f--k-r!!
There's no cure for him
But we can hit this cancer with every treatment currently available !
Time off work and hospitalisation and doctors appointments is costly
