Shindler vs Harvey

So... I've never done this before but I'm thinking of starting a go fund me page for my brother, his wife and 4 kids. They managed to stay clear of the 6 ft of water they were expecting in their home, so that's good. However, they returned to find 16 inches in the whole first floor and 20 inches in the garage. Not good but luckily they have insurance... so they thought! They have insurance but it does not include flood insurance!! Are you kidding me?! They are now fully responsible for everything they lost on the first floor due to Harvey.

1)master bedroom set
2)dining table with chairs
3)all kitchen appliances (brand new fridge was only 3 months old!)
4)first floor carpet
5)garage fridge
6)etc etc etc

I would love nothing more than to surprise my brother and his family with a chunk of change to help them get back on their feet! Thanks in advance!!
