After overcoming addiction and achieving sobriety for over a year, she was diagnosed with <strong>Wilms tumor, a rare cancer that primarily affects children and is extremely rare in adults.</strong>

While her hospital medical expenses are mostly covered by state insurance, she still has significant out-of-pocket needs for at-home care.
