Sherry’s Veterinary Treatment

Hello my name is Liz thank you for your interest in my dog’s GoFundMe story.
Above is a recent photo of my lovely 13 year old dog named Sherry I adopted her from a dog rescue Center 2 and a half years ago after my husband passed away as I was feeling lonely and needed a companion. She is very special to me and has her own quirks, she loves to sit on your lap all the time and will only go for walks when it’s not raining “she don’t like to get wet”

The reason for the Go Fund Me campaign is because Sherry has a large mass on her right leg (can be seen in the photos) which has grown quite large over the last few months and needs to be removed before it becomes even bigger and potentially cancerous.
Your kind and generous donation of any amount for her surgery to remove the mass would be greatly appreciated. The vet has advised that the estimate of the cost for an attempt at removing the mass from Sherry's leg. Which includes the general anaesthetic, surgery, medication, dressings (performed with a nurse every 48hrs over 14 days) and an external lab analysis of the lump. The estimate comes in between £1800 and £2000.
As a pensioner on a low income I am not able to cover the whole cost on my own. I have contacted a few dog charities to ask for any help they could offer me but sadly I was told that “I am out of their catchment area.” Together with your generous GoFundMe Donations we can get the surgery done that Sherry needs to give her a better quality of life in her senior years.
Thank you
