We rode bikes together, played hide and seek together, we even got in trouble for who was going to dry the dishes!
Today, We are writing in the behalf of our sister Sherry (St. Johns) Fournier. Our sister, Sherry has been diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. She bravely decided to fight and go to battle against lymphoma cancer!
Sherry has since began her treatments of chemotherpy but recently found out along with the Lymphoma that her gallbladder is diseased and may be surrounded by cancer. Sherry is scheduled to have surgery to remove her gallbladder with further testing of cancer. She will have to stay in the hospital 4 to 6 days. Her recovery time is 6 to 8 weeks. Then she may require another surgery after they test for surrounding cancer. This is devastating to her!
We are trying to help with her and her family's financial hardship. We want to help our sister maintain her home and financial needs. With the medical bills increasing and difficulty to provide during time off from taking caring of children, we decided to reach out to family and friends to ask for help. We thought a fundraiser would help provide care and support for Sherry.
