It has been about a year now since the Funk’s have had to deal with the illness that took the ability to walk away from Sherri. They have had to learn how to adjust and make the best out of the situation. In order for Sherri to have any kind of mobility she needs a powered wheel chair. She is still teaching music at Heritage Christian School and needs the chair to do her job and live her life. Their insurance will cover some of the cost but Derek and Sherri need to make up the difference. That’s where you, their family and friends come into the picture.
