Sherri and Children

Donation protected
This picture is me with our daughter Sherri, and her daughter, Arinn. Sherri also has a son named Noah. They've all had more than their share of pain and suffering in their short years including the death of Arinn's and Noah's father three years ago. It was a suicide and it ripped apart the hearts of everyone in our family but obviously mostly for Sherri, Arinn and Noah. Sherri had her own business and lost it.  Arinn and Noah went through hell trying to understand why something so horrible happened to their family. Sherri took a job and was starting to get her life back on track. She was then offered a position with another company that was a better opportunity for her which she accepted. She started the new job and loved it. It was the perfect position for her and for the company.....her experience and skills matched exactly with what they needed. That brings us to May of this year.

After about three weeks in her new job, she was injured in a truly "freak" accident. I can't go in to detail but she received a large, very deep laceration across her forehead, a severe concussion and whiplash. This wasn't a car accident but it's been just as tragic.  This is her third concussion in less than a year with the 2nd most recent one in April and now again in May.

She has horrible never-ending headaches all day and all night, she is dizzy and can't walk without help, she obviously can't drive, she has terrible pain in her neck and back which permeates down her left side all the way to her foot, she has ringing in her ears and can't speak coherently. She loses track of her thoughts mid-sentence. She can't watch tv, use the computer or read. She basically has to sit in the house doing nothing at all. If you could please just take a moment to comprehend that statement. She can't do anything!  Imagine if that happened to your life, not to mention she's a single mother trying to support two children.

Its been two months and we haven't seen any improvement to-date. Because she had just started a new job, she wasn't eligible for benefits until she worked full-time for 30 days. She never met that mark so she has no disability insurance, no sick days, no vacation time, etc., she has had ZERO income and was living paycheck to paycheck and no savings to fall back on.

She's in jeopardy of losing everything now. In addition to rent, utilities, car payment, car insurance, food, etc. she has been bombarded with medical bills that she has no way of paying.

At this point the doctors aren't providing any type of prognosis other than she needs to rest and it's going to take time. We don't know if it will be two weeks, two months, two years or she may never be the same.

She is in desperate need of financial help. Anything at all, even $5.00 would be a true blessing. We arbitrarily set a goal of $5,000 just to get her caught up on her bills not including any of the medical bills. Right now our primary concern is being able to keep her in her apartment, keep the utilities on and be able to buy food for herself and her children.

In the end we know that God will help her through this crisis. If you are unable to donate, please include her and her children in your prayers. Either way, your kindness is so greatly appreciated.

Lastly, please share this post with all of your contacts and ask them to do the same and so on.....we need this to go viral to reach as many people as possible.

Thank you so very much and God bless You!
