Sherri Miles Camp Overlook Scholarship Fund
We are establishing this in Memory of Sharon Lynn Miles. She had a passion for making sure all children who wanted to attend church camp had that opportunity, regardless of their family's ability to pay. A week at camp can run as high as $495 per child. Sherri worked on raising money so that no child paid more than a $25 deposit, keeping camp affordable for families - especially those with multiple children.
The fund will be administered by McGaheysville United Methodist Church on behalf of Sherri's family.
It is our hope that more children will know Jesus as Sherri did, and the opportunities to spend a week at Camp Overlook will encourage them to grow in their Faith.
Her family thanks you for your generosity and we hope Sherri will continue making an impact in the world for generations to come.
