Dear Friends & Family,
I've been feeling like the Lord is challenging me to take some BIG LEAPS of faith in 2020. It's been a few years since I've recorded an album, and I've been sensing that it may be time to start taking steps in that direction!
The financial challenge has often been one of the biggest roadblocks in my own mind; the cost to record an album is not cheap! However, I feel like the Lord encouraged me to share the dream in my heart with my friends and family, and see if any of you might feel called to partner with me financially to make it happen. Of course a free finished product is in it for you when it's all completed! ;)
Thank you for prayerfully considering coming alongside me in this journey. I feel like all I have to offer are a few loaves and fishes...but I know God can do all things!
Here's a little sample of one song that has come out of this season, which I hope to include on the record...and if you feel moved to make a donation, your support would mean a lot to me.
UPDATE MAY 20, 2020: Due to Covid-19, I was unable to move forward with the producer in Northern CA I was hoping to work with this year, so the Lord encouraged me to consider creating a home studio space where I can learn to record and produce right in my own bedroom. My original donors ($5000 of which opted to not go through this site, actually) all agreed to have their funds go towards purchasing gear for a home studio. The remainder needed will go towards both the cost of music equipment, software, online training needed, etc for me to be able to record the bulk of it home/remotely - but then also the cost of hiring engineers for the mixing and mastering of the final product when the time comes.
I actually have my first song sent out for producing/mixing/mastering RIGHT NOW and I'm so excited about it!
