Since our class graduated in 1988 we have lost many beloved classmates. We would like to commemorate and celebrate their lives by purchasing and installing a memorial bench in a location TBD in Sheridan. Classmates are welcome to contribute to the bench and related costs in order to celebrate the lives of our classmates who have departed too soon.
UPDATE:
THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the Memorial Bench project. The bench was placed in the entry to Sheridan High School. Special thanks to Michelle Meehan and Chrysti Wright Bluemel for their work on choosing a beautiful bench to celebrate the lives of our classmates and to Denise Comes Hawkins for the lovely poem on the bench. If you ever get to Sheridan, stop by the high school and check it out. It’s a beautiful tribute to our classmates.
To my classmates:
Life is short.
Eat the cake.
Take the trip.
God Bless.
