Shepherd Hollow Farm Fire

One of my best friends & her boyfriend lost everything in a house fhttps://www.yorkdispatch.com/story/news/2018/02/19/chief-14-dogs-perish-chanceford-twp-fire/353330002/ ire yesterday in Brogue Pa.  Sadly, all but 2 of their beloved working dogs lost their lives, along with  2 rescue dogs & several puppies. 14 dogs in total perished in the fire (5 adult dogs & 9 puppies).  April also lost many of her pet chickens, and a small kitten that they had also just rescued. April & Steve opened up their home to animals in need, and they are both beyond devastated over the loss of their pets. Steve is military personnel and April is a professional dog trainer and breeder. Over 50 amazing firefighters showed up to put out the blaze. The Red Cross did an amazing job as well and have temporary housing available for April, Steve and their 2 dogs for the next 6 months while they rebuild. But there are a ton of other things that they are going to need to get through this including: Dog, chicken and horse food (all lost in the fire), help with vet bills, food, clothing, supplies, storage containers, furniture etc. My goal is to raise at least $3,000.00 to help them get back on their feet so they can begin to rebuild and heal after such a devastating and painful loss.
