Sheppard Family Fire Fund

Donation protected
On August 4, 2017, the Sheppard family lost their home after their apartment building caught fire in Round Lake, Illinois. Matt and Bonnie, along with their two young boys (ages 9 and 7), escaped from the fire without injuries. Aside from the contents in the garage, the Sheppard's have lost nearly everything they own. Just a few weeks ago, the Sheppard's suffered property loss and damage due to the flooding in Northern Illinois.

Both Matt and Bonnie are hard-working, self-employed entrepreneurs. Matt works in construction. Bonnie--a creative entrepreneur--has lost all of her machines, supplies, and the immeidate abilty to earn income.

First and foremost, the Sheppards need our prayers. The Sheppard's also need clothing, shoes, food, toiletries, school supplies, and other basic necessities. Although the Sheppard's are able to stay with family in the interim, eventually, they will need to rent a new home, as well. Although donations of the above-mentioned goods are appreciated, the Sheppard's don't have the space to store a surplus of items, so financial contributions will allow Matt and Bonnie to purchase the specific items that they need and can store at present.

All contributions--big or small--are greatly appreciated. And, of course, prayers are welcome!

Yours truly,

Maggie Wilson and Cheri Tracy (family friends)
