Help shelter our Homeless with Chronic illness !

Hello,
We , Natasha Amonkar and Vanessa Almaraz are advocates for the homeless population. We are here asking for our community's help, to assist the most vulnerable population during this pandemic. This particular population has been deeply affected by the pandemic as they have chronic illness, lack of continued care and unresolved or lack of medical treatment . For Example, There are many elective surgeries being canceled with the pandemic severely impacting the hospitals.
We want to prevent having our homeless individuals back in the street, having them return back to the hospital without resolved outcomes. Many shelters and resources that usually help this population have been closed due to being at capacity or currently in a shut down due to Covid positive cases. Many of our homeless are out back in the street or about to be back in the streets due to lack of funding. Those with chronic illnesses require more long-term care which is currently not available due to this unforeseen pandemic .
We are asking for aid to sponsor clients in certain programs where their funding has ended. This aid may extend their stay until they receive the medical treatment they need to stabilize their health. We hope to be able to use the aid to sponsor their treatment to assist in helping them find affordable housing or possible permanent homes during this pandemic.
I believe if we all contribute at least 1$ we can make a difference . Please help our community so we may keep them out of the street.
