Our beautiful, vivacious, energetic, can’t sit still , always a big bright smile with the pink lipstick on to share with every single person she meets, our friend who is absolutely the reason so many of us know each other, our friend, a mother, a daughter, a partner, a sister, a cousin, a Neice , she needs our prayers, our strength, our optimism, and our love.

As some of you already know , Shelly was diagnosed with Extensive Small Cell Lung Cancer in the fall of 2022, just 6 months ago. Palliative Care is how she is being treated since day one. she is on a waitlist to be on a new trial for a new type of chemo. Pray that happens hopefully soon. She just recently completed 10 days of radiation which has pretty much stopped her in her tracks . Unfortunately, she needed to be admitted at University of Chicago this past Friday March 24th.

Some of cancer has spread to her brain and bones which is why she just had so much radiation.

Shelly has not been able to work throughout this entire time since diagnosis. The short term disability has stopped and wasn’t truly enough to live off compared to her salary . Jeremy has taken off a lot of work which has also cut into the earnings. Her treatments are in Chicago but home is in Warsaw, Indiana , so travel expenses all the time , plus medical expenses. So I have created this GoFundMe page to ask you all to open your wallets and please give what you can. Any donation regardless of amount will be put to very good use to help our friend not worry about money but focus on her health only.
