Shellie's Journey of Life-Pulmonary Hypertension

My mother, Shellie Hoerrmann has always worked and provided for herself and her daughter as a single mother. Sometimes, she would even work 3 jobs at a time to make ends meet. She owned her own hair shop and have done hair for very many years in our local area of Green Castle, Missouri. My mom has faced many hardships in her life due to her health problems in life but they have never stopped her from living her life, or atleast trying. She has suffered from diabetes, neuropathy and broken legs. She has been down and out before but my mom always seems to make a way when there is no will. She reccently fell ill and was diagnosed with Hypertension and Pulmonary Embolism. She has blood clots in her lungs and is unable to walk very far distances without having a hard time breathing. She has to have a rare open heart surgery in San Diego, California where they will be able to give her a better qualify of life.. but She now needs our help to be able to get out to San Diego, California. She needs help with the expense of the flight to get there and transportation and a hotel stay. She goes to San Diego in December 7-8 and will be out there for a week and then go back out on the 13th- and have surgery on the 14th of December and be out there for another week. Anything will help my mom to have a better quality of life and we appreciate it very much.
