Flashlites for Pedestrians & biker
Donation protected
Pedestrian/bicyclist fatalites are mostly avoidable. Where I live in Tampa, FL they continue. My sister Shelly A Thomas whas killed 7-25-2012 about 9:45PM in Gainesville FL by a truck as she crossed on foot HWY 441 to go to a grocery. I do not know if having a flashlight would have saved her life. I do know I have almost been run over several times as I walked my dogs without one. I started carrying one before my sister died. Last year I bought 111 quality Cree 300 lumen flashights at a wholesale seller. I enjoyed giving flashlights out to pedestrians and sharing the story of my sister. I cannot help but think how much flashlights will help pedestrians be seen and possibly save some lives. I would apprecite these funds so I can order 130 of these same model flashlights and batteries and 8 other flashlights to try out with recharge kits, and give those away too. I would like to start this campaign soon becaouse the days are shorter. I have some handlebar mounts already purchased to give away for bicyclists. This just seems to be a simple, inexpensive safety feature to offer to pedestrians and bicyclists. Thank you for your help.
