Shelbie Ross's Brain Tumor Medical

Donation protected
Shelbie was having trouble with her eyesight and having headaches and when the Doctors finally did an MRI they found she has a Supra Sellar Meningioma Tumor sitting on the right optic nerve which is pushing into her optic chiasm. If this tumor is not taken out immediately, she will have permanent vision loss.  She needs to have a Craniotomy immediately and is scheduled to have it on September 21, 2017 in New York City. They need to be in NYC a few days before the surgery and stay 7 - 10 days minimum after the surgery. Even after that they will have to go back to NYC 4 or 5 times to make sure her progression is as it should be.

Shelbie lives alone and between not being able to work for 2 - 3 months, living only on short term disability at 60% of her wages, her expenses will be extreme. I would like to see our community rally around her and help her and her family cover these costs if possible.

Shelbie is a bright, intelligent, young woman who graduated from Machias Memorial High School and the University of Maine at Machias and deserves a great future ahead of her, with her eye sight intact.

Please help support this young woman in her critical time of need. September 21st is literally only 17 days from the date I write this!

Thank you kindly!
