Hi everyone,

I’m running the Sheffield Half Marathon this March in memory of my nanna and for all the families going through the heartbreak of dementia. Watching someone you love slowly slip away, losing the memories that made them who they are, is something no family should have to experience. It’s cruel, and it’s tough.

Dementia didn’t just take my nanna, it took her stories, her laughter, and the little moments that made her her. And it has left many families, not only mine, feeling helpless. So I’m raising money for Dementia UK, so other families don’t have to go through this alone. They provide specialist support to those living with dementia and fund vital research that will, hopefully, one day lead to a cure.
