Punished because she wants life

Hi everyone, thanks for watching this video.
I'm raising funds for my beautiful mum, Tracy and dad, Jason who have been through a really tough time in the last few years and I really want to make things as easy as possible for them.
Mum was diagnosed at 52with stage 4 bowel cancer that had metastasized to the liver (spread) and given weeks to live in december 2016.
She had been unwell for over a year already but with desperately trying to keep a business afloat doing 100 hour weeks there was no time for health.
the business went under and they went bankrupt a few months before the diagnosis.
Go home, say goodbye to everyone and come back to die is what they said.
My mum is my hero and she has always been able to do anything she ever put her mind too. including the things others said were impossible.
She wasnt ready to say goodbye to life, her husband, her 4 kids and 3 grandchildren.
Mum went back into hospital in early october and was again told she had a week or two at most. "its your time" the doctor said "whats the point in comparing scans" said another.
They wanted to book mum into hospice this time for palliative chemo. They wanted her to get ready to die. When she said no, they put on her medical file that she had refused treatment so now she has to pay for things that would otherwise be covered under medicare. Things she needs, like blood transfusions. How can they do that? As people? With a heart? They just made it even harder. Her GP was stunned.
For so long i watched her struggle along, her and dad, not asking anything off of anyone and now its getting too much its at the point where urgent support is needed. and i would like to help relieve some of the pressure and its a huge financial toll on them, so thats where im starting.

Mum has always given to everyone else, she is generous to a fault and it has been so nice watching people give back to her through the gofundme and other means.
when mum was diagnosed they told her she could have palliative chemo but nothing would cure her or help, it might give her a few extra weeks at most. That’s why mum chose to go alternative natural treatment seeing as medical gave her no options really.

She has changed her diet, her mind, her whole life and given so many different things a go to help support her body to heal and its worked, she is over a year later and still with us. And even if she went tomorrow, her family was gifted an extra year with the most incredible woman I have ever known and that means the world to us.
Thank you so much for your help and your support, it means the world to me and to a woman who is going to change the world. Her goal when better is to help others overwhelmed by a medical diagnosis like she was.
This money will help her pay for her blood transfusions and her supplements and vit c treatment and the infrared sauna mat that helps her manage her pain. the filtered water, as normal tap water increases her pain.

It will help take the pressure off of Dad, he is working soooo hard and i want him to be able to enjoy some of his time with mum.

i want to inspire people to not always listen to a prognosis or life expectancy when given. take the diagnosis and use it as a stepping stone to where you are going next on your journey.

I want to inspire you to hold loved ones close and appreciate them as much as possible. Tomorrow is never guarenteed, thats why we need to make the most of the present.
life itself is terminal.
xx
Tracy and Jason, my mum and dad, you are the best parents ever and I'm sorry for every time i ever took you for granted and im sorry for the teenage bits especially.

I love you mum
