Building Shechem

Tax deductible
A proposed three-story, 21,000-square foot community center that will have a variety of uses, all of which are intended to be open to people living in our Hope Street housing, and the surrounding area.

The community center will be called SHECHEM, after the Canaanite city of Shechem, which the bible describes as a place of refuge. Many significant events throughout the Bible took place at Shechem. God chose to be at that particular place over and over, because of the drama and messiness of it.
You see He owns Shechem.

Shechem is a vision for the future of our community. It is a bridge, for our members, towards reintegration and it is a bridge for our community to experience the Greenhouse for People - a place that screams, "You're worth it!"

We are asking each of you to partner with us in bringing Shechem into reality - whether that be a monetary gifts, prayer, or through sharing our vision with others. Help plant another seed as we seek to expand the Greenhouse for People within our community on 26th and Capitol.
