Transgender Day of Remembrance

Transgender Day of Remembrance, also known as TDOR, is a vigil held yearly on November 20th to raise public awareness of violence against transgender people, as well as, mourn and honor the lives of those who might otherwise be forgotten. 

This day also provides an opportunity for the City of Gainesville and the surrounding areas to step forward and stand in vigil to remember those who have died by anti-transgender violence.
