Hi, Assalamu alaikum, my name is Shayma small, I am 19 years old and will be studying Pharmacy at Cardiff University starting September 2019 in shaa Allah.
My mother is a struggling single parent and works hard to provide for her family, however, providing funds for University, especially with 4 children, is merely impossible, and has big worry for all of us, as no one in our family has managed to obtain a degree and fulfil their academic goals.
Going to University, and completing my education has always been a big passion of mine, and I have been successful in both GSCE's and A-levels, alhamdulillah. Since Science and Mathematics has always interested me, I chose biology, chemistry, and mathematics at A-level, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Now I am on my gap year trying to save money for my university degree, as due to religious reasons I cannot take out a loan because of the interest. However it is very difficult to save, and I am still far from my goal. Any donations would be deeply appreciated, and will be a kick start towards my career, and hopefully I will be one of the first in my family to achieve a degree, in shaa Allah!
