Shawn's Road to Restoration

As you may have heard by now our great friend & brother Shawn Tsukamoto was involved in a very serious accident and is in need of your continued prayers, love, and support. So far, the healing process has been sanctified and anointed to say the least. Shawn's incredible wife Lenore, and his four girls, Cody, Kirsten, Tyler, and Charlie, have given me their blessing to start a Go Fund Me page on their behalf. A very close group of Shawn's friends are trying to help the family with the fine details during this journey so they can continue to focus on Shawn's healing process.
Here is a little background of the most recent life events leading up to where we are today...
Shawn & Lenore recently re-ignited the family atmosphere at their neighborhood ice cream shop. They completely renovated the run-down location, and as always, Shawn added his special touch of "Aloha" to make it more than just a place to grab a refreshing dessert. The Tsukamoto 'Ohana greeted everyone by name and if they didn't know you, they would change that in an instant with their welcoming smiles & warm greetings. Their new family operated business was thriving & provided a fresh breath of life into a long standing local business. The surrounding communities not only loved the ice cream but they appreciated the conversations & inviting smiles provided by the Tsukamoto Family. Unfortunately, after they had put in all their hard work, love, and time into their "mom & pop" ice cream shop, the Tsukamoto 'Ohana were forced to abruptly close their business due to uncontrollable situations within the company. As difficult as it was, the Tsukamoto's put their trust in the Lord & believed that new things were in store for them based on His plans for their family.
Shawn & his family needed to put this chapter behind them as quickly as possible. The Tsukamoto's continued to focus on their faith and family life knowing that God will always provide great opportunities for them because they remained faithful to His plan. During his temporary break from working, Shawn was able to dedicate more time to skateboarding with his youngest daughter, Charlie, and could always be found at the local skate parks in Pearl City and around the island. Knowing that God had a plan, Shawn was blessed with another exciting new venture that he was just dipping his feet into when the accident happened. So now those goals are on a temporary hold as Shawn & his Girls overcome these little speed bumps that have been placed in front of them.
Shawn has always been an entrepreneur at heart & has launched several successful businesses over the last several decades. Shawn & Lenore have traveled the world through different business ventures meeting thousands of people. If you know the Tsukamoto's, their "vibe" & persona are infectious. They have been known to light up a room & encourage people around them by the way they live their life & raise their children. Over the course of many years, they have impacted people in one way or another, sometimes unknowingly. Now everything is coming to light revealing how much reach & impact Shawn specifically made on people around the globe. The prayers & words of encouragement received via text, social media, email, phone calls, mail, hospital visits, etc. have truly been an overwhelming blessing to the family & they are extending their sincere appreciation to everyone. People from all parts of Shawn's life (high school, surfing, business contacts, community members, church ohana, friends, and family) have been popping up to come to his aid with prayers, well wishes, & offers of assistance in every way....which has truly been a blessing.
Shawn has always been the financial provider for his family & although he would never ask for it, he needs our help to ease the financial stress on those he loves. Shawn's friends & extended family are asking for monetary donations to help pay for medical expenses & any other life expenses the Tsukamoto 'Ohana may encounter while Shawn continues to heal. In the first 5 days, Shawn's treatments include EMS care, 1 major surgery, an MRI, multiple CAT scans, 24 hr care in the ER/ICU, multiple specialist visits, medications, etc., and yes this is just the beginning. I believe Shawn will heal faster than most people because of his strength and faith, and because of all the prayers he is receiving from all over the world. Our goal is to raise enough money so that Shawn can start fresh & not have to deal with any medical bills from this incident when he is ready to get back on his feet again. YES it is a lofty goal however we know it can only be accomplished with the help of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ & all of you. We are calling upon everyone that Shawn made an impact on over the years to give whatever you can because everything will count in the long run, no matter how big or small. If you cannot give anything monetarily, we continue to ask for your prayers of healing for Shawn as well.
Shawn lives his life by two keys words: "Strength & Honor". He continues to show us his strength during this process & we can honor him by doing whatever we can to help in his time of need. Shawn is one of those guys you could call on at anytime if you needed help with something & he would never ask for anything in return. Shawn's relationship & faith in the Lord has carried him through life's winding roads & even in his time of healing, his relationship with Jesus Christ continues to flow through his body. That unparalleled power is healing his body in miraculous ways that have his Doctor's very impressed & excited about his progress. Shawn has made a huge impact on my life personally & I know he has done the same for so many people out there. Let's show him our love & support by contributing whatever we can to aid in his recovery.
Just as the picture above depicts...Shawn has just begun his miraculous road to restoration. Although the path in front of him may look uncharted to most people, those who are faithful know it has already been navigated and he has already arrived at his destination of FULL and COMPLETE recovery. We can see the path of super natural healing, we can see thousands of anointed hands praying over Shawn's life & family, we continue to see miracle after miracle of progress, & we continue to believe in an increase in strength in Shawn's mind, body, & spirit. We have already claimed victory over the total restoration of Shawn's memories, body functions, mental abilities, and spiritual love of our Lord and Savior...Jesus Christ! Please, we ask for your help in continuing to lift up Shawn, Lenore, and the Girls to be used as another shining example of how powerful, faithful, and beautiful God's love truly is!
