In Loving Memory of Shawnna Godshalk

Shawnna Godshalk was the kind of human every person should aspire to be. Through every challenge life threw at her, she fought back with kindness and love. Unfortunately, her last battle was one she couldn’t continue fighting, and now she is free of pain and reunited with her sweet baby girl, Lily, who passed in 2014.

In April 2022, Shawnna received the news that she had been fearing, her donor kidney that she received just 7 years earlier was failing her. After a three-week hospital stay, she was finally able to come home, but her treatment from that point forward would not be an easy one and took an extreme toll on her body. Through it all, Shawnna remained a positive and loving person. Last week she lost her long-term health battle, and was finally released of her pain - leaving this world to be with her daughter for eternity. But the impact she leaves behind is a huge one.

As Shawnna’s passing was unexpected for her family, there are many costs associated that they were not prepared for. I am hoping to raise the funds needed to cover said expenses; and ensure they can take care of things in the way that Shawnna wished. Any remaining funds will be put aside for her son, Jackson, and his future needs. Thank you for any amount that you are willing to give in honor of this beautiful soul. She is so greatly missed.
