Dear friends, family and anyone that knows my brother Shawn Simard - we first want to share with you some bad news:
October 5th, 2017 at approximately 4PM, Shawn was riding his motorcycle on Derry road near creditview and suffered a severe accident.
He was then immediately taken to Sunnybrook Trauma Centre in Toronto. He has suffered a traumatic head injury and has been put into a medically induced coma. We are unsure at this point what the outcome will be once he’s brought out of the coma, and the severity of any other injuries. We are just hoping for 100% Shawn.
Last year in October, most of you will also remember Shawn suffered a heart attack, and now this October he has suffered this traumatic accident.
We have started this campaign to help Rebecca and Shawn get through this difficult time with the least amount of stress possible. Shawn will be out of work for what is to be expected a very long time, and any amount of help would be greatly appreciated by Shawn and his family.
