Shawn Merrill Emergency Medical Fund

Hi, my name is Angela Stutzman Ayala and Shawn Merrill is one of my oldest and dearest friends. Shawn was attending his 30th class reunion this past Saturday and he suffered a fall resulting in a spinal cord injury. He currently is unable to move any of his limbs and is on a ventilator. Prior to this horrible accident, he was recovering from stomach/intestinal cancer and was in the hospital half of June into July. He had sent me a message on July 30th that his surgeons took out his PICC line, stomach drain and told him they got all the cancer. What he was most excited about that day was that his doctors cleared him to go back to work "light duty" in 2 weeks. Anyone that knows Shawn knows how much he loves his job and rarely misses a day. Shawn already had mounting bills prior to this accident and at this time, will likely require an extensive medical stay. Shawn is one of the nicest guys I know and is always with a smile and always lending a hand to anyone in need. He NEEDS OUR HELP NOW, and he definitely needs us to lift him up in prayer. All money in this campaign is going to Shawn, and his sister Jody will help me with that. I am setting an amount that probably won't even be close to what he needs.
