Shave Nicole's hair to fight cousin's cancer

My cousin, Candice Draper, is fighting cancer and needs help to pay for her operations and medical treatment in the coming months.
And so, on Friday 28 February 2020, I am shaving my head and donating my hair in solidarity with Candice so she won't be the only baldie in the family, and to raise funds to help pay for her medical expenses.
24 years ago, Candice was diagnosed with Bronchial Carcinoid Cancer when she was 16. Since then, she has had multiple tumours, lost one lung, had brain surgery in 2006 with Dr Charlie Teo, and has had multiple life-saving surgeries and medical treatments year after year. During that time, she met and married the love of her life, Peter, and has two amazing girls. She has fought this battle with quiet grace and dignity, never complaining.
But once again, this disease has raised its ugly head and left my cousin with another life-threatening challenge - brain surgery for the second time, with more radiation therapy and on-going care.
Peter is the sole income earner for the four of them, so we are pitching in to help reduce the financial stress.
Which is why I am donating my hair.
Yep, I can easily support Candice with my own financial donation but where's the fun in that? I want to support Candice with my love, my solidarity in being bald (we should have at least two trend-setters in the family), and to take as much financial stress off them as I can. I can't make her cancer disappear, but I can do this.
I would LOVE to raise $10,000 to help with Candice's costs. This will be added to our total goal of $150,000 which will cover most of her medical costs (but not all).
Whatever you can give will be fantastic. Feel free to share with others and share the love. And this way, I get to find out whether my head is tiny under all that hair or whether my brain is normal size :) :)
