Ladies and Gents. Thank you very much for checking out my story. After much consideration and consulting with some friends and family, I have decided to come to you, my extended friends and family, and ask you to be a part of an amazing new project already in the works.
A new album has already been started. My second. And it's going to be far and beyond anything you have heard from any of my creations. It is going to be a mix of hard and fast to slow and sweet. And as with everything I do, I am pouring my heart and soul into this project to make it the best I can possibly make it with you in mind. The ones that listen, support, and matter the most.
If you don't know me, here's the very short story. In 2008 my life started to fall off of the cliff with financial difficulties. As with most small business owners at the time, we lost everything. Businesses, property, money, savings, our homes. All gone. But I kept on keepin' on and started playing music as a way to temporarily help pay some bills. And the music grew.
Keeping the story short...if it could go wrong, it did. And it continued like this for the next two years culminating in a diagnosis of a rare leukemia in October of 2010. But I still kept performing, as sick as I was. At the bottom of rock bottom. Because you asked. And you were there cheering me on. It's what I do. And it kept growing.
Now I'm back in the saddle with things looking up. And now I'm asking you. Not to just chip in and help pay for some random request. But to be a part of a comeback story. A "never quit no matter what" story. A "when the goin' gets tough" kinda story, and help someone chase their dreams. Help me bring my music to the world. To your C.D. player in your vehicle. Or your mp3 player in your pocket. Be a part of bringing music out of someone who has stories to tell. Be able to say "I helped him get there"!
I have the determination. I have the equipment. And I have the drive to make this happen. What I don't have is the means. The money. The cash. The dinero. That's where you come in. This process is VERY expensive and you can never grow if you can't get your music to those that are hungry. There's recording, production, mastering, design, packaging, shipping, promotion, and touring. To name a few things that are very costly. In other words, EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS!
So dig deep and let's get this new album done and out there for you and the world to enjoy. Anything helps! If everyone would just give one dollar it would be enough. If we blow the goal completely out of the water, then thats just how much further this album will go. So, no matter what, dont stop. The goal is set for five thousand five hundred dollars but I could use one hundred thousand dollars or even more! The music business, just like every other business, runs on money and the more you can throw at it, the more return you will get.
I have already been very humbled by the amount of support I have received in my career this far. So anything more is already more than I could have ever imagined. Thank you all ahead of time whether you give or not. If you can't, I ain't mad at you. I've been there. I just hope that one day you and I both will be in the place in life that we can give back like those that will give to this creation and fund someone else's dreams. OK! LET'S GO!
