My nephew Shaun Colamonico was injured playing football for Long Beach City college Viking on
October 14, 2017. The injury has not only taken Shaun out of sports but, also out of school. He had a grade 3 ACL, MCL and PCL tear. The doctor during surgery ( 10-30-2017) reconstructed his MCL using a achilles' tendon from a cadaver. The ACL was reconstructed using his patella tendon. The repair to his PCL consisted of stitching it together. They also had to stitch up the lateral meniscus. Shaun’s recovery time is 8-9 months. Now, comes the hard part physical therapy. Shaun has to have PT three times a week which is to start immediately. The co-pays and out of network fees are becoming over whelming. Please whatever you can donate to this fund would be greatly appreciated. God Bless
