You may have heard, on Monday Dec 4th, Sharon Craig was rushed to the hospital due to trouble breathing. While there she was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and told her heart was barely preforming. It was decided she would need immediate open heart surgery.
With her family by her side for support, Sharon will be receiving double bypass surgery on Thursday Dec 7th at St. Joseph Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. The procedure, while always risky, has a high success rate and with the amazing care of doctors we hope to see her released from the hospital within a week and fully healed within a few months.
While the news is shocking and rather frightening - We want to thank everyone who has shown support, prayers, well wishes, and send their love. Many have asked how they can help and if there is anything they can do ---
The short answer is yes. Please continue to keep Sharon, a mom and loving wife, in your thoughts and prayers. This is all we truly ask first and foremost.
However, during this time our mother will find herself out of work, her husband is also taking time off to aid in her recovery. Unfortunately bills need to be paid and soon enough the hospitals will need to be paid too.
If you are able to donate to help cover these expenses during the procedure and recovery time - it would be greatly appreciated by both Sharon and our family. Even a dollar can help relieve some of the stress brought on by this sudden, life altering experience.
