Due to complicated health issues, Sharon aka “Big Red” Miller unexpectedly passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital on Tuesday, October 20th, 2020 at 3:35 a.m. Red recently moved back to Utica to be with her three loving children Tikeya , Ramisha, and Raequan Miller. Red was loved by all her family. Red had loads of friends & family from Utica to Brooklyn and to Virginia. Anyone that knew Red knew she was one of the most loving mothers, a loyal friend, and family oriented.Her personality was contagious and you couldn’t help but love her after you met her. Red was known for being the life of any party scene and loved to get up and dance with the best of them. She got her name Mama Red or Big Red because she was a mother figure and influential to a lot of younger generations. She could love you through all your troubles.Her personality was warm, inviting, Funny outgoing and exciting all in one. When you were around Red, there was never a dull moment and she never had a problem speaking her mind. Red has touched so many peoples lives and will be truly missed by her children and everyone else she’s left behind. Being the unexpected timing of her passing, and the struggles of money due to Covid-19, we the children of Red, are asking for your help to send her home to be with the lord and to have her sent to New Jersey to be laid to rest next to her mother which is what she would have wanted. We appreciate any donations given in this trying time in our family
