Youth Olympic Trials/Junior Worlds

Hello everyone!  I want to take the time to briefly introduce myself and my family.  My name is Sharif Salim and I am 16 years old from Redondo Beach, California.  I train at Salim's Taekwondo Center in Redondo Beach, Carson and Eagle Rock.  I've done Taekwondo my whole life along with my family.  My father Gergely Salim is a 3x European Champion, World Champion and Olympic Champion.  My uncle Joseph Salim is a 5x European Champion and a Olympian.  My brother Omar Salim is a 6x national champion and a 2x Pan American Champion.  As well as my 9 year old sister Kamilah Salim, a 3x national champion.

I recently qualified for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games Qualifier and I made Junior National Team in Denver, Colorado.  I will be representing USA in Hammamet, Tunisia in early April to compete at the World Taekwondo Qualification Tournament for the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina AND Junior World Championships.
