Keep Sharia’s Closet door open!

As a 501(c)(3) Sharia’s closet mission is to respond to the needs of people by distributing free, gently used clothing - one bag at a time, we’re very excited to involve everyone in our latest fundraising efforts.

Sharia’s Closet has been operating since 2013, providing clothing assistance to individuals and families experiencing a crisis, economic distress, and homelessness. Our small, volunteer-based organization has provided relief for our neighbors in need across the San Diego area. To date, we have distributed over 8,982 customized bags at no cost (FREE!) to those that require our services. Our clients tell us that our care packages have helped them find jobs, send their children to school with clean and well-fitting clothing, and maintain a sense of dignity during times of insecurity.
