<div>We came up with the idea for Shared Lines after a close friend was struggling with his mental health and we came to the realisation that there really isn’t very much out there that isn’t just sitting down and talking. We wanted to do something that can involve the outdoors and being able to connect with people who are like minded and going through similar situations. Ourselves and a lot of close family and friends struggle to just sit and talk about their feelings as well as many other people, which leads them to feeling isolated, stressed and alone.
</div>
<div>Shared Lines was created to change that by offering a safe, welcoming space where people can come together, connect and support one another through something simple yet powerful, fishing.
</div>
<div>Fishing isn’t just about catching fish. It’s about slowing down, being present, and sharing quiet moments that naturally lead to conversation. Whether someone is completely new to fishing or has years of experience, Shared Lines aims to bring people together by the water, creating opportunities to talk, laugh, and build genuine friendships.

<div>Our mission is to:
</div>
<div>* Support people’s mental health through connection and community
</div>
<div>* Provide a relaxed, pressure-free environment to talk openly
</div>
<div>* Teach beginners the basics of angling , building confidence and new skills
</div>
<div>* Create regular meet-ups where friendships can grow naturally
</div>

</div>
<div>We are raising funds to help get this initiative off the ground. Your support will go directly towards:
</div>
<div>* Fishing equipment (rods, reels, tackle, bait)
</div>
<div>* Basic seating and shelter for comfort during sessions
</div>
<div>* Safety gear and beginner kits
</div>
<div>* Permits, venue access
</div>
<div>* Resources to ensure sessions are inclusive and sustainable
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter how small, helps us take one step closer to building a supportive community where no one feels alone.
</div>

</div>
<div>By supporting Shared Lines, you’re not just funding fishing equipment — you’re helping create a space where conversations happen, friendships form, and lives can change.

<div>Thank you for being part of something that truly makes a difference.
