Loving Mother and Wife Taken Too Soon - Memorial Fund for Sequoia Fisher
Sequoia dedicated her life to loving her family and friends, and she was an inspiration to all. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, Sequoia made it known that she was determined to fight…and fight she did! It was only through her strength and positivity that her loved ones were better able to cope with the devastation that cancer brought with it. Never letting up, it was during Sequoia’s battle that she defied the odds and managed to bring a beautiful, perfect little baby girl into this world. She would be blessed to be able to spend the next five years raising her daughter, Isis, while continuing to fight for her life. Sadly, even though she fought hard, Sequoia lost her battle with cancer the day after her husband Larry’s birthday, and the day before her daughter’s 5th birthday. Larry is now left to raise Isis on his own and together they face a future without Sequoia.
To honor Sequoia’s memory and legacy, we have created an education and support fund for her daughter, Isis. Money raised through this fundraiser will go towards easing the burden that such a loss brings. Proceeds from this fund will go directly towards helping with things such as school tuition, daycare, counseling, and extracurricular activities.
Having this fund in place and providing support for Isis would make Sequoia’s heart smile. Knowing her friends and family are keeping her memory alive through the growth and support of Isis, who, reminds us all so very much of Sequoia, is a wonderful gift. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sequoia’s family, friends, and loved ones.
