<div>Hi my name is Annie and I've been riding for a few years. It's changed my life. Horses teach you to trust and learn to be trusted, to be patient and to commit.

<div>Research shows that horseback riding can be therapeutic for all ages.

<div>Sadly, the equine ecosystem is not representative of the world around us. The sport notoriously has excluded many people of color and people of lower socioeconomic backgrounds.

<div>I'm working to change that! As an executive who has worked at the intersection of diversity and business for over a decade, I'm fundraising to set up a summer camp and lessons throughout the year for children who couldn't otherwise afford and haven't been exposed to this magical sport. 
</div>

</div>
<div>I'm partnering with a horse rescue facility to provide this camp. They specialize in education for campers, and do world class rehabilitation for horses rescues from traumatic situations. 
</div>

</div>
<div>My camp is called Camp L'Ouverture, named after Toussaint L'Ouverture, the Haitian revolutionary who was also an avid horseman. Representation matters everywhere.
