<div>Hi everyone, I’m Christian, cousin of Shar and Rhett Rakhshani, organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Shar to assist in gathering donations to help cover upcoming expenses in her battle to overcome aggressive cancer.

<div>In late November of 2022, at 31 years young, Shar learned the devastating news that she's been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that began as a tumor in her colon, has lesions in her lungs, and cancer in some lymph nodes. Having recently moved to Germany with Rhett to continue his hockey career and their three young girls - Stella age 6, Scarlett age 4, and Georgia age 2 - this terrible news left them with a grim reality and being forced to make the most important decision they will ever have to make.

<div>After much thought, many prayers, and hours of research, Shar and Rhett decided their best option was to leave Germany to come back to their home in California to pursue treatment in Southern California, close to many great cancer centers and near loved ones, although this meant Rhett had to put his career on pause, as time was not on their side and they had to act quickly to start treatment.

<div>As a loving wife and mother of their three young girls, and with a husband now out of work, the uphill fight to overcome aggressive late-stage cancer becomes even more difficult. With strict dietary limitations, expensive doctor's bills to come, and unforeseen travel expenses on the immediate horizon, Shar and Rhett will need all the assistance they can get to ensure Shar gets the best treatment possible.
