Lavell Marshall for Team USA

My name is Lavell Marshall, I'm a fighter, 2x national Shuai Jiao(Chinese Wrestling) champion, a personal trainer in Columbia, South Carolina and a student of movement. 

My goal is to raise $2000 to help get me to china for the Shuai Jiao World Championships representing the USA.

This May is the biggest Shuai Jiao(Chinese Wrestling) Competition in the world in Wenzhou, China. Its the World Championships of this beautiful art. Two years ago I went to China and fought some of the best, I was successful in all my matches except one(against Russia) and wasnt able to bring back the only thing I went for...GOLD. I spent the last two years training and conditoning on a level most couldnt imagine, with my Teacher and many different fighters and specialists of all forms. I've truly evolved on my journey with only one thing in mind, and thats to go back for redemption, to take whats mine and to bring some gold back to the USA. This is not just for myself but for my supporters, my Martial family and to show that America has top level competitiors. This is to show that we don't always get what we want at first, but if you train and put all your effort, all your energy in what you really want and without a doubt believe in yourself, you can truly achieve anything and go beyond what your mind can even fathom.

I'm asking for support and help to raise money to make this become a reality! I wish we had more organizations to sponsor the Shuai Jiao USA Teams but the art just needs more recognition and its going to take us to WIN to make this happen.

After worlds, I plan to begin entering the MMA world and representing Shuai Chiao to a bigger audience, to give it the light its meant to be in and continue spreading this art through combat sports.
