Shannon's Chile Missions Trip

Hello​ ​Friends​ ​and​ ​Family, 

I​ ​am​ ​so​ ​excited​ ​to​ ​share​ ​with​ ​you the​ ​wonderful​ ​news​ ​that​ ​I​ ​get​ ​to​ ​go​ ​to Chile​ ​this​ ​Spring​ ​Break​ ​through​ ​Palm Beach​ ​Atlantic​ ​University​ ​solely​ ​for​ ​the name​ ​of​ ​Jesus.​ ​A​ ​team​ ​of​ ​13,​ ​including​ ​me, will​ ​be​ ​aiding​ ​the​ ​new​ ​Chile​ ​Life​ ​Center​ ​as they​ ​prepare​ ​to​ ​open​ ​their​ ​doors​ ​to orphans.​ ​My​ ​team​ ​and​ ​I​ ​will​ ​also​ ​be working​ ​alongside​ ​a​ ​local​ ​church​ ​in outreach​ ​to​ ​youth​ ​in​ ​surrounding​ ​villages through​ ​Door-to-Door​ ​Evangelism​ ​and Vacation​ ​Bible​ ​School.​ ​Each​ ​day​ ​will​ ​end with​ ​a​ ​worship​ ​service​ ​where​ ​we​ ​get​ ​to lead​ ​worship,​ ​share​ ​testimonies,​ ​and encounter​ ​the​ ​incredible​ ​culture​ ​of​ ​Chile. God​ ​is​ ​going​ ​to​ ​do​ ​powerful​ ​things​ ​in Chile​ ​and​ ​I​ ​want​ ​to​ ​let​ ​you​ ​know​ ​how​ ​you can​ ​help​ ​too.

​ ​It​ ​is​ ​said​ ​that​ ​everyone​ ​is​ ​called​ ​to mission,​ ​either​ ​to​ ​go​ ​or​ ​send.​ ​Whether​ ​in your​ ​community​ ​or​ ​across​ ​the​ ​globe, God’s​ ​love​ ​needs​ ​to​ ​be​ ​shared​ ​with​ ​all​ ​you come​ ​into​ ​contact​ ​with.​ ​The​ ​trip​ ​to​ ​Chile​ ​is going​ ​to​ ​cost​ ​around​ ​$1800.​ ​My​ ​team​ ​is doing​ ​many​ ​fundraisers​ ​and​ ​we​ ​are working​ ​hard​ ​as​ ​we​ ​trust​ ​that​ ​God​ ​will provide​ ​it​ ​all.​ ​I​ ​am​ ​asking​ ​that,​ ​if​ ​God​ ​so leads,​ ​you​ ​would​ ​help​ ​support​ ​me​ ​in going​ ​to​ ​Chile. 

Most​ ​importantly, ​ ​I​ ​ask​ ​for​ ​your prayers. ​ ​Prayer​ ​is​ ​a​ ​powerful​ ​thing​ ​and my​ ​team​ ​and​ ​I​ ​will​ ​need​ ​plenty​ ​of​ ​it​ ​as​ ​we prepare​ ​for​ ​our​ ​time​ ​in​ ​Chile.​ ​Thank​ ​you so​ ​much​ ​for​ ​your​ ​time​ ​and​ ​I​ ​cannot​ ​wait to​ ​share​ ​with​ ​you​ ​what​ ​God​ ​does​ ​in​ ​Chile!
