Shannon Stowe's Surgery

Our names are Katie Myers and Angie Tennant, and we are lifelong friends of Shannon Stowe.
In late May, Shannon is going to be having an outpatient surgery to correct a non-threatening congenital defect that needs to be dealt with. She's going to be out of work for a few weeks, and between the loss of income and the cost of extraneous medical bills her insurance will not cover, it's going to be a lot of stress and worry on her shoulders.
So many of us have benefitted from Shannon, whether as students, colleagues, fellow artists, or friends. Her passion and selfless dedication for enhancing the lives of those around her through dance, fitness, and theatre have touched countless lives. She is a steadfast friend, a patient instructor, and a joyful artist. If you have the means and opportunity, we ask you to consider supporting Shannon during this difficult time, as she has supported so many of us herself.
The surgery date is tentatively set for May 29th, and we will continue to post updates and information as it arrives. We are grateful for any help you can provide.
