<div>My name is Shannon Clifton, and I’m the founder of the Shannon Clifton Foundation. I’m also a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. My experience was made even more complex when I became a mother as a child myself. The pain I’ve lived through has shaped me but it’s also given me the purpose to help others feel less alone.

<div>For years, I carried the emotional and physical scars of what happened to me, struggling through trauma, shame, and silence. Healing has not been easy. It’s been long, messy, and at times, incredibly isolating. But it has also been a journey of resilience, faith, and hope.

<div>That journey led me here to a mission deeply rooted in personal truth.
