Shann Robinson #FreeShann Help Survive No Pay

Donation protected
Hello,
I am helping set up this fundraiser, to help my friend and coworker, Shann Robinson. Shann has a medical condition called Trochlear Nerve Disorder and Hydrocephalus. This disorder causes many people who have it must have sufficient airflow and oxygen intake, the other side is the pressure of anything touching the face confuses the nerves and causes the vertigo, confusion and other issues outlined in any search you do for these disorders.

Shann is a single parent to a disabled child, who cannot fend for himself and is wheelchair bound.

Shann can Not wear a medical mask due to her medical conditions. Her work place mandated that all employees must wear a face mask, and there were no exceptions given. Then, they told her she could apply for an accommodation.

On July 9th, Shann was sent home from work and made to use her own leave. She was not given any help and was denied any program of any kind as soon as she asked for it. There was a roadblock and a list of "No's" at every turn. Before going home from work, Shann put in for the accommodation to work without the mask on July 2nd.

After the first week of August, Shann exhausted all leave of any kind that she had managed to save up. She now went to a no pay status. Still no word of any kind or any help towards keeping a paycheck coming in at all.

Shann Robinson has been on a no pay status since the first week in August, and that has been 3 and a half months now. She has not been to work in 4 and half months. there has been no accommodation given, she has no resources left get or use .
She has two car payments, one is for her sons specialized van that accommodates his electric wheel chair so he can get around. The other is for her own personal car. She has insurance on both of those as well. She has an astronomical electric bill, that would improve but she doesn't have the money to spend on fixing her a/c unit, because that now went to pay the bills when she had no paycheck. She also has internet and phone bills, and let me just say, her son uses the internet for his ability to play games, and  the cable is the only other form of entertainment she has. She needs a phone to be able to communicate with her doctors. She has to drive to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville on a semi-monthly basis to keep her medications and treatments up to date for her disability. On top of all of that she has to put food in the house, and pay for all of those things that are needed, laundry soap, toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, etc.

To top it all off, no one gave anyone notice of her status, so the medical insurance company that she has contacted her and told her either she starts paying them or she loses her medical insurance. So, Shann did what all single moms do, she found the money and paid her insurance, but the sad part is she didn't' have to pay that insurance, it could have been paid back when she went back to work, but no one notified anyone of all of that, so she didn't know and neither did the insurance company.

I am just trying to paint the picture, how long could you go with a disabled son, in a wheel chair, with no money to pay your bills? No way to buy food? No way to pay your car payments for the vehicles that are needed to get you both to your doctor appointments? No way to fix an a/c system? Oh.. and did I mention that she paid someone to fix her roof last year and they didn't do too good of a job and it is still leaking? And it may be causing mold? She was hoping to get that fixed along with the A/C but now she is not sure when she will go back work and when she does, she will have to pay so much in back bills .. that it won't seem to ever get out of the hole that has been dug for her.

She is a wonderful person and will do anything for anyone. She is proud and won't ask for help, because as a single parent she has learned to do so much on her own, and not wait to get that help.

But she needs your help more than ever right now. You will ask .. what about food stamps.. well she isn't fired or jobless.. she just isn't allowed to work, so she got some for one month, but then she had to fight to try to get some the next month.. she can't get unemployment she still has a job , she just isn't allowed to work without the mask that she can't wear.

What would you do? I am asking for whatever you can give, whatever you can donate, or can help fix even. Please do so. The total being asked for is to get her bills paid, and her medical insurance paid, and to get her roof fixed and her a/c system fixed.

If you know her, you know she would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it.
Thank you to everyone .. this is taking a toll on her health. Prayers and help is needed.
