Shanley's cervical cancer appeal

Hey All,

I'm reaching out to everyone for a bit of help.. In the last month, my best friend Shanley's life has been completely turned upside down when she was suddenly diagnosed with cervical cancer stage 3b and spreading.

Her diagnosis and deterioration has been an exhausting whirlwind for her, and her 3 children Chris, Samantha and Adam.  Shanley is a single mother who has worked her butt off to provide for her children. Unfortunately due to circumstances since the diagnosis, she has been unable to work and earn an income.

She has been in and out of hospital with unbearable pain and is now undergoing a pain management plan through palliative care nurses.

Her amazing children are doing everything they can to help, and two of them have even just been offered part time positions at their local supermarket. However this is still a massive burden on the children and they are just covering the rent.

Shani has currently undergone one dose of chemo and has  two more doses to go, then a PET scan, in hopes that her tumour has shrunk in size. 

Then another three,  so  6 full cycles of Chemo in hopes to stop the cancer spreading and shrink it enough to begin radiotherapy for 5 days a week for around a month with extra Chemo cycles to assist the radiation. Then there will be a few rounds of Brachytherapy which is specifically targeted directly on the tumor inside.

This treatment plan is going to be a long and trying journey.

Fingers crossed this will kick the cancers' butt and Shan will be living a happy healthy life in no time!

I'm hoping to really relieve some financial stress on Shanley and her children.

Our Shani is such a beautiful, selfless, caring woman. She brings so much love and laughter into people's lives.

That is why i am reaching out for Any amount of help to alleviate this distressing financial situation she is going through, and hope to cover six months worth of monthly wages.

Tell your wives, your girlfriend's, your sister, your mother, your daughters. Tell yourself!  It is SO important to be tested on a regular basis & educate yourself on HPV and its effects.
