Shanika's Big Hair Cut

Shanika is an 11 year old  girl from Burnie, Tasmania Australia. Due to a traumatic birth which caused brain damage, Shanika has Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, an intellectual disability, hearing/vision impairments, the biggest smile, the loudest laugh and absolutely amazing hair.

This beautiful girl is going to cut off her hair once she reaches the goal of $6500 which will purchase a "Raizer Lift" hoist for her school. She will then donate her GORGEOUS hair to be made into a wig for someone who needs it.

School of Special Education North West require a special hoist called a "Raizer Lift". This mobile lifting chair is a compact, battery operated lifting chair, which will safely assist a student who has fallen, by raising them into a sitting or even standing position. This is an amazing asset for both staff and students.

This is a fundraiser for The Fairy Godmothers Incorporated. A registered not for profit organisation situated in North West Tasmania. The Fairy Godmothers mission is to assist the Tasmanian community and families who have children with disabilities, special needs and medical conditions.
