Shane’s Sobriety for Charity

Anyone who knows me personally knows how much I like to have fun and be social. A big part of that typically revolves around some sort of alcohol consumption.

So for the month of October, myself and other employees at the Hospital will be doing a challenge. We have all made a pact to stay sober for the entire month, and have also begun a fitness competition. Each participant must raise a minimum of $500 that will later be donated to charity. But this is the fun part. We all have purchased a MyZone fitness belt and are competing in teams of 5 for who can score the most points by working out the hardest during the sober month of October. The winning team decides which organization the money will be donated to.

This is a huge challenge for me. Especially the not drinking alcohol part lol but also the immense amount of cardio exercises I have been forced to do to keep up with these marathon runners that I call coworkers. so any amount you can donate will surely go to a good cause and my sobriety. I promise to work hard and do my best!

cheers to a month without alcohol!!
...oh wait..... Nevermind.
