Dear potential supporters,

Team building is one of the most important investments we can make in establishing culture and enjoyment in sport. It builds trust, mitigates conflict, encourages communication, and increases collaboration - all lifelong benefits that stem from participation in high school athletics. For these reasons, the Girls Varsity Swimming and Diving Team is asking for your support to help fund an overnight trip that’s sure to make lasting memories.

This August, at the end of our first week of the season, the team is looking forward to a weekend at Camp Schodack, a private retreat located on 150 acres in the foothills of the Berkshires. Here, returning athletes can welcome their new teammates with a positive experience, bringing everyone together and setting the tone for the season ahead.

With the aforementioned benefits in mind, I’m asking for your help to send our girls to camp. As a high school coach I firmly believe athletic participation should not be influenced by socioeconomic status. My goal is to send the entire team on this trip, with an absolute minimal financial commitment from families. To that end, I’d appreciate any help you can offer, either through a monetary contribution or by simply passing this message along to friends or family who may further support the goal. I’d like to thank you in advance for being part of an amazing support system for a special group of remarkable young ladies.
